Hi, I’m Erica Onofrio

In 2009, I began actively exploring the further reaches of my soul following a traumatic marriage. I reached for anything that could help me both heal from this experience and grow as a person. I turned to yoga, various forms of healing, group and individual therapy, support groups, traveling, and trying anything new and exciting that I thought might help in this process. It was an incredible time of shedding and healing and growth that I am so thankful to have been able to have experienced. It also opened the doors for me to connect with my soul and my soul’s dreams, which completely changed my life in every possible way.

In 2018, I opened as a small brick and mortar studio in Ocean City, New Jersey with just a single offering: an intuitive reading and reiki session designed to help connect individuals with their souls and the dreams of their souls. I was so excited to have found something I was passionate about to share with others in a tangible way to help them grow into better versions of themselves.

Since then, my business has seen a lot of changes. In 2019, I began offering Reiki Trainings, Sunset Paddle & Meditate and various specialty workshops. In 2020, I navigated the pandemic by turning to creating, and in that time both my signature program, Four Weeks to Freedom, and a special offering, Sovereignty Sessions, were born, as well as my YouTube channel. In 2021 I began to offer Yoga on the Beach. In 2022, Sacred Cacao Ceremonies were created and I began selling Kakao Drinking Chocolate. In 2023, I began offering Retreats. This was particularly special to me as it was something I wanted to do for as long as I could remember. In 2024, I opened a yoga studio in the highly popular downtown Asbury Avenue section of Ocean City, New Jersey (we are located at 801 Asbury Ave, on the 3rd floor). My business has grown far beyond what I dreamed could be possible when I first opened the doors. I love to push myself beyond what I believe are my limits and see what I can create from that space, all while holding myself in a container of peace. Everything I offer is designed to help others do the same.

Making my dreams become a reality has been an incredible experience that I’m forever grateful for. I’m here to help as many people as possible do the same in their own lives. I love that I get to do what I love for a living every day of my life. I know what it’s like to live from the space of doing what you think you should do rather than what you want to do, or living from the space where it feels like you do not have a choice. Because I have pulled myself out from those spaces, I have been able to work with many clients on helping them release the chains that hold them down so that they can live life on their terms - not on anyone else’s - and so they can begin living the dreams of their soul.

My training and experience includes 335 hours of yoga teacher training in the following:

• 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor (Vinyasa)

• 30 Hour Yin Yoga Certified Instructor

• 32 Hour Yoga for Trauma Certified Instructor

• 30 Hour Restorative Yoga Instructor

• 22 Hour Yoga Nidra Certified Instructor

• 8 hour Chair Yoga for Seniors & the Elderly Certified Instructor

• Mudras Training for Yoga Teachers

• 12 Hour Shapeshifting Sequencing Training

• Healing Through the Energetic Body

As well as:

• Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher

• Bachelor’s Degree, Criminal Justice, Stockton University

• NASM Certified Personal Trainer

• Trained in Motivational Interviewing, Rowan University

• Health Counselor at the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine

• Studied Health & Exercise Science at Rowan University

• Facilitator for numerous adult and youth spiritual programs and education since 2015

I am forever grateful for the beautiful gift of life. I am grateful for my body, my mind, my existence on this Earth and the ability to live a life I deeply love and enjoy.

I also hold tremendous gratitude for all of my clients for giving me an opportunity to live out my life purpose, share my gifts, and assist in their life journey. From each and everyone of you I learn more about life and humanity, energy and myself. It brings me great joy to see you grow and expand and connect with the truest versions of yourselves.

The greatest gift you can give to anyone is to allow them to be completely free to be themselves. I am able to both do this and to help others do this because you exist. From the deepest depths of my heart, thank you.

Why I do this work

I believe that you have the right to explore the depths of your heart and soul and live life from that space. I believe that every soul has dreams they wish to fulfill. I’ve found that people are happiest when they live life on their terms, not anyone else’s, including but not limited to familial, societal, and cultural influences.

I believe the connection that one has with one self is the most important connection of all and I will work diligently with you to help you forge that connection and deepen in self-love, self-acceptance, and self-compassion.

I believe that with a deepened connection to oneself, you can do anything you set your mind to and feel safe and supported in doing so.

I love working with sweet souls from all over the globe as they find their way back home to themselves! I love going to great depths with people, listening to their stories, holding space for their healing, supporting, guiding, encouraging, and empowering them along the way. I love that I get to wake up every morning and do exactly what I want to do with my life and it is my mission to make sure as many people as possible get to do this very same thing. I believe that when you live life in alignment with your soul, and when you follow the dreams of your soul, you can create magic.
