Meet Your Host
Erica Onofrio first fell in love with Iceland during a road trip around Ring Road in 2022. She recently completed a second road trip around Ring Road in 2025. She loves everything about Iceland, from the weather (which surprised her!), to the hot springs, the endless scenery for as far as the eye can see, and most of all - how magical it feels. She is excited to offer another retreat to Iceland and share the magic of this beautiful country with others.
Our retreats are intended to create an energetic shift within you to bring you to a more peaceful, more aligned, and more fulfilled version of yourself.
It is a once in a lifetime opportunity experience another country, meet new, like minded people and reconnect with your soul, all while enjoying some of the best Mother Nature has to offer.

Iceland Weather in October
Expect temperatures around 38-41 degrees. There is a very minimal chance of snow, but it is unlikely. This is the shoulder season between summer and winter and a great opportunity for catching the Northern Lights.
There is a saying in cold weather climates: “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing!” We’ll send you a list of our must have recommendations to stay warm, dry, and cozy no matter what weather we experience in Iceland.
Days are starting to grow shorter in October, with sunrise just before 8am and sunset around 6:30pm during our stay.
All activities are within one hour and thirty minutes of the house (with one option for an additional drive to visit the world famous Black Sand Beach). The house is approximately 45 minutes from the airport. On the very first day of arrival, we will visit Sky Lagoon before heading to the house. Sky Lagoon is approximately 40 minutes from the house.
We will only spend a very short amount of time in the major city of Reykjavik, so, if it interests you, we recommend coming into Iceland early or extending your stay to experience the city for a day or two, if desired. Please note, transportation is not included outside of the retreat start and end times (7am October 5th to 2pm October 11th). If you prefer to explore the city before the retreat start, please check with Erica about best options to connect to begin the retreat on the morning of the 5th.
A complete itinerary is available via email. Please request at info@souldreamsstudio.com
We make it easy. Pack a bag. Buy a plane ticket. Join us on a new adventure.
We recommend flying Icelandair. The following airports on the East Coast all offer nonstop flights and great prices: Newark International (EWR), John F. Kennedy International (JFK), Boston Logan International (BOS), Baltimore International (BWI). Icelandair also offers flash deals and we recommend buying your ticket during these times. We will alert you when a flash deal is happening.
Please note: Flying out of Philadelphia International Airport is not recommended as there are no direct flights, and the layovers can take you to London before backtracking to bring you to Iceland. It is worth the slightly longer drive to fly from Newark or New York rather than experience much longer flights from Philadelphia.
Please select Keflavik International Airport (KEF) for arrival and departure.
Please note: The retreat begins on Monday, October 5th as soon as you arrive! Airport pickup is scheduled for 7am with a stop for breakfast at Grái Kötturinn in Reykjavik and then enjoying Sky Lagoon before heading to the house. You will need to purchase a ticket to leave the United States (or other country) on October 4th in order to arrive on October 5th.
For departures, you’ll return to the airport by 2pm on Sunday, October 11th for a 5pm departure flight. Please do not book flights outside of these arrival and departure times unless you plan to spend some time in Iceland on your own before or after the retreat.
This retreat is hosted in English. There is no need to know Icelandic to participate.
As a retreat goer, you’ll be sent a detailed itinerary with information on how to book plane and excursion tickets, what to pack, and what to expect.
Previous Retreat Feedback
“Fabulous trip and a grateful experience. Everything was planned out perfectly. Food was great, yoga was enjoyable, women were amazing. Iceland is absolutely stunning. 10 out of 10.” - E.S., Iceland Retreat, October 2025
Previous Retreat Feedback
“I went to Iceland this April with my girlfriend to experience a retreat planned by Erica. The retreat was an incredible experience from beginning to end. As the only male participant (outside of her amazing son/chef), I was a bit worried but could not be happier that I attended.
Erica had an extremely well thought out itinerary for our trip. We visited key places in Iceland that made the experience unforgettable. There was also time for meals, both from her son but also out on the town, that were incredible. The yoga/cacao were not something I planned on participating in prior to the trip. What I can confidently say now having tried both, is to keep an open mind. It made my experience in Iceland that much better and showed me that growing outside of my comfort zone felt empowering and allowed me to experience emotions I had not previously confronted.
Best of all, was the group. Erica is selective in whom she brings on these retreats. People of all various backgrounds, yet, we all bonded on a level I could not have imagined. Every single member of the trip is someone I will see again and keep in contact with. The experiences of the retreat were shared together, yet, independent enough to still feel like a vacation for my girlfriend and me.
Overall 5/5 stars rating was not enough with leaving a review. For anyone on the fence of going on the retreat - go. I can assure you that you will not have regret and you will meet people that will quite literally change your life and experience activities, locations, and memories you will hold for a lifetime.
Thank you, Erica! - Tyler Bayly, Iceland Retreat April 2026
Previous Retreat Feedback
“I just returned from the best yoga retreat with Erica and a group of fantastic, funny, smart and genuine women. The yoga and guided mediation & journaling was meaningful because of Erica’s gifted perception and spirit. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable with lots of space for participants to have privacy, indoors and outdoors. The meals were nutritious, with options for specific dietary needs. It was more than I could have imagined. Honestly the most fulfilling and magical yoga retreat I’ve ever been on.”
Previous Retreat Feedback
“Erica hosted a fabulous retreat! I felt so well taken care of the entire trip. The retreat was well balanced with yoga and exploring Costa Rica. I highly recommend and can’t wait for the next retreat! The retreat was fantastic! Erica was so organized and her energy calm. She has a special gift. I’m glad I could be a part of the experience!
More info about our retreats:
All retreats hosted by Soul Dreams studio are sober retreats. This means there is no alcohol or drug use allowed in any form. If this doesn’t work for you, this isn’t the retreat for you. Thank you for your understanding.
Our private chef will cook most of the meals you eat during the retreat, other than 3 meals outside of the house and one take out meal on the first evening, which is included in the retreat price. (One breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner will be dining out). Dietary restrictions and allergies can be accommodated. The host has celiac disease and adheres to a strict gluten free diet and extremely minimal dairy and the chef has knowledge on how to prepare meals for gluten and dairy free guests. Please reach out to discuss any other dietary restrictions or concerns at info@souldreamsstudio.com
Our retreats have hosted guests from the ages of 21 to 74! We tend to have most guests in the 40-70 range, however, we welcome guests of all ages to join us.
While all of the retreats we have hosted so far have been mostly all women, we recently welcomed our first male participant and have had other men express interest in joining in on a retreat but they do not want to be the only male (totally understandable)! So, if you are a male who is interested in this retreat and doesn’t want to be the only guy, please reach out directly and we will see what stars we can align!
Often, our retreat goers are not regular yoga practitioners, however, they enjoy the yoga during the retreat and many have started a regular yoga practice upon returning home. All yoga classes (and any group events) are completely optional.
